The Women’s Mafia are please join jewelry designer Mindy Recht as she presents her new work at Bloomingdale’s in Soho on Saturday August 29, from 12 to 7 pm. The showing is part of the Fashionnable Fundraiser in Black and White for amfAR’s AIDS research. The Black and White Fundraiser will be running at Bloomies from August 29 to August 30, 2009.

Mindy will be presenting a cool new line in 18k gold jewelry that she debuted in July as well as other cool pieces in sterling silver and bronze. Her line of bracelets, earrings and rings that she describes as ” for tough girls and boys” will be on view as well. Come out and join Mindy for a great cause on Saturday August 29.

On September 10 Mindy will be back at Bloomies for Fashion’s Night Out which will take place in 13 cities around the world and everyone is invited. Fashion’s Night Out is sponsored by Vogue magazine, Bloomingdale’s and the CFDA to help amfAR raised money for AIDS research world wide. Bloomies is promising tons of freebies including their delicious frozen yogurt and live music.
