It was an honor and absolute pleasure to witness Kati Stern’s 2010 Spring/Summer Collection for Venexiana – glamorous couture that embodies life de luxe. Long multi-layered chiffon and silk dresses in peach, pink and multi-colored with deep open backs and kicky hems. Black and white asymmetrical form-fitted dresses with sequins and Swarovski detailing that light up the room. Gilded gold halter-necks and peaks of gold under an otherwise subdued tweed. Flower cut-outs and floral prints on delicate layered fabric. It does not get any more feminine than this. The audience applauded with standing ovation for Kati Stern, the designer behind Venexiana, when she walked down the runway at the end of her show.
