On May 5th, 2011, to coincide with “Cinco de Mayo” celebrations, a private event will be held for the launch of this much anticipated issue cover. This issue includes an amazing article about Karen Hoyos’ trajectory by highly acclaimed journalist Carlos Anaya along with extraordinary pictures taken by world-renowned photographer Philippe Reynaud. Karen wore extraordinary dresses by top designers Sisa Simone, Raul Peñaranda and Javier Muñoz and jewelry from Jewelry architect Gary Salvit with Infinite Joy Line by Chateau jewelers. Karen Hoyos’ hair and makeup was fabulously done by the magical hands of celebrity makeup artist Carlos Otero, assisted by Cover FX director Matthew Ambrosio and team. Behind the scenes pictures were taken by Mariana Martinis. An amazing group of volunteers of friends and family included Jenny Correa and Raul Ospina. Karen Hoyos‘ Executive Assistants Rossmery Gomez and Michelle Csonka collaborated on this production as well.
