Summertime is in full swing and as our annual weekend trip to the Hamptons approaches we wanted to fill you in on our essential guide to the Hamptons so that you can also prepare for a perfect getaway weekend. Whether you are staying as a guest in a private home or cozying-up at a hip share house, this list will help make your trip as fabulous as can be.

Be sure to show off your inner summer goddess with the perfect suit. One bold favorite is this sexy black and white bikini by Maeeda or this lowcut sheer one-piece option by Cala Ossidiana.

Become the guest of honor  and make a splash by gifting your host or hostess with Alchemy in a Glass, the essential guide to handcrafted cocktails by expert Greg Seider. Be sure to bring along the key ingredients to your favorite drink and ensure you get asked back!

Before you set off on your trip, make sure your hair is primed for sun, sand and evening soirees at Y Gallery salon. If your highlights need a touch up, increase your natural glow with their French hair color technique, Bayalage (think hand-painted highlights!). We also highly recommend their Brazilian Keratin treatment to prevent that seaside frizz throughout the sunny days and long nights out.

Women’s Mafia has proudly partnered with Y Gallery Salon, co-owned by Yoni and Yaniv, for a recent event; be sure to mention Women’s Mafia when booking your appointment to receive the extra VIP treatment!

There is nothing more essential to remember at the beach than your skin. Be prepared for dryness from head to toe with Crackspackle by Lora Condon’s Beauty Buster Skin Care. This natural balm targets and repairs dry, cracked skin on hands, feet and lips.

Don’t let the rising summer temperatures stop you from wearing your favorite colors, dresses or fabrics. Recently our go-to antiperspirant has been Certain Dri. As a clinical strength antiperspirant roll-on, certain dry guarantees a 72-hour sweat and odor fighting protection and is resistant to all water for your dip in the pool or ocean.

As a traveling essential, be prepared to layer up! The Long Island railroad is known for being extremely cool compared to the summer heat, so be prepared to layer up for a comfortable commute.

Our favorite summer layering piece is the Drape Cardigan by Kenchen. You will use this piece all summer long and into Fall. Currently the Drape Cardigan is on sale for $98 with the original price of $148.

Another easy piece to add comfort and color is a Sophia Costas Scarf, available at ID Pop Shop in Chelsea Market and at Designer Mia Berglund’s site.

When you want to catch people’s attention while you are out and about, be sure to bring along a new hot bag. We love to bring out the brightest colors during the summertime. For a colorful tote to carry your beach essentials we recommend the new Cedar Street Perforated Harmony tote by Kate Spade.

Protect your eyes while looking glamorous with the perfect sunglasses by Lucky Selectism. This dynamic Korean brand, brought to the US by Heewon Kim & his wife JungEun Carolun Han, is a chic way to compliment your individual style. The inventive line is available at ID Popshop in Chelsea Market and also online at luckynyselectism.com.

As all Women’s Mafia members know, one of the most essential elements for any outfit are your shoes. Longtime Women’s Mafia members, Brazilian sisters Ana and Caroline have recently started Ana et Carol, an inventive online retailer that is bringing the best of Brazil’s sexy-yet-comfortable heels to the US marketplace. They were raised in the fast paced city of São Paulo; where fashion, architecture, art and high heels are icons of this huge metropolis with a population of almost 20 million people. Like many of their fellow Brazilian ex-pats they would wait to buy shoes (and bikini’s!) until they went back to Brazil for their annual trip. Now these trend-setting sisters are bringing these 100% South American leather and 100% Brazilian made shoes to the US in their favorite styles. Available soon at anaetcarol.com – for more information 917-319-9100 – caroline.lobo@anaetcarol.com

For a vibrant daytime look while you hit the shops or the beach, throw on a pair of Teysha Guate Sandals. Handcrafted in Guatemala and supporting local communities, these culturally bright sandals are sure are sure fit.

When venturing out to in the Hamptons you must always include an unforgettable cocktail dress. Show off your chic side with subtle patterns like the Ultra Violet dress by Kristi Vosbeck and be prepared for a Hampton’s white party and show off your tan with the Well Received dress by Kristi Vosbeck. Both dresses and other stunning looks online at kristivosbeck.com.

With fashion, sometimes our outfits aren’t quite complete without the perfect accessory. Here we have a list of your summer jewelry must haves.

Our favorite summer earrings are the elegant Joslyn earrings by Shaya. The design is simple yet elegant in a gold that is a perfect addition to any outfit.

Another summer best are these delicate gold bracelets, from the Barbara Wilkinson Jewelry made with beautifully cut gems and great for layering.  If looking for something a little larger, the Pyrite bracelet by Barbara Wilkinson Jewelry is also a stunning choice.

If you are headed on vacation as a single lady, keep the men intrigued with a beautiful right hand ring from Diamond Envy. This stunning piece features a .46 carat round brown diamond surrounded by a halo of white diamonds and is set in rose gold.

Make a huge seaside statement day or night with this beautiful necklace made from Tuscan wild rose branches cast in gold by Kimberlin Brown Jewelry.

We wish you the best trip to the Hamptons or whatever beach getaway you may be heading to!
